To help individuals who own their home, YWIFI has put together a program to help you keep your already paid home. Not losing your home because you were unable to pay taxes, is a relief that any home owner appreciates.
Don't Lose Your Family Memories In Your Home To Backed Taxes
- Your home will have to be evaluated. YWIFI will be checking for: safety, livability, citations, insurance, damages etc. YWIFI has to make sure our partners/clients are safe.
- Your income requires you to re-evaluate the budget for your home. So, budgeting class will be necessary.
- Note this is a program and not only a loan. This is not a grant.
- Repayment is required with a 10% interest on the total amount borrowed.
- Example: let’s say, you are 3 years behind on your taxes. Before your home goes to auction. You can come to us. If you owe $6,000 in back taxes; the total amount to repay, will be $6,600. YWIFI does not charge monthly interest or daily interest.
- A payment plan will be worked out for you in budgeting class. To not only pay back the loan , but also include taxes for the upcoming year.
- Late fees are added if payments are late. there is a $25 charge for each late payment. You will have a 10 day grace period, before the $25 late fee is added.
- You did NOT spend all those years paying for your home, to lose it.
