Vision

Just like Dr. Martin Luther King, change starts with just one person. A person willing to risk it all for the betterment of mankind. We have realized through years of research that there are more and more middle class families. Families now have two working parents trying to get ahead, but still always falling short. With a combination of low pay and increased cost of living; families are struggling to keep our heads “above water”. The government has cut funds of over 135 programs to help families into homes. Where are those families living? There are two homes for every homeless person. Most of the homes are abandoned. We are here to get those homes and put families back on their feet and leave a legacy for their children. Take control of their lives with knowledge, hope and confidence. We face challenges head on. Resurrecting homes and keeping families encourage is what we do. Just like Dr. Martin Luther King, it starts with one person. We have made a decision to make, will you make yours today.

Change the world one family, one home, at a time.

Romans 12:10 ” Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honor preferring one another.”

You’re Worth It Foundation Inc is first and foremost a faith based (Christian) limited liability corporation and ministering organization. YWIFI LLC helps with providing homes to families, but also try to change the mindset of individuals so they can keep what they have attained. You’re Worth It believes if a person can see themselves in a better situation and has the proper tools and guidance, they can attain all goals. You’re Worth It Foundation also has partners that helps families with budgeting, finance and home repair resources. Families will not only qualify for a rent to own home, but also keep the home for their children. Classes on maintaining the home is also incorporated into the home ownership process. Strategic partnerships with career source and local technical schools help ensure home ownership is a success.

YWIFI solves the issues of over 71,000 student being homeless in the school system and over 33,502 adults having no stable place to live. More than 54,981 homes are abandoned and providing no return for their prospective districts. Foreigners are buying up properties and demolishing single family homes to build expensive condominiums; which drives up the cost of living for residents.
YWIFI LLC attains surplus, abandoned, county owned homes. We fix up the homes with the help of volunteers. With our volunteers and partners, YWIFI help families get jobs to pay for the homes they rent to own. The goal is to provide for clients teaching for budgeting and finance management, with the help of strategic partnerships. Also, partnering with career source for training and job placement is essential for individuals that were incarcerated or have no credible work experience. YWIFI fills several needs: place over 714,000 families into homes, help thousands of adults back into the workforce (even those with misdemeanors), put money into the school system (by homestead taxes), over $1,000,000 goes back into Miami Dade, Broward and West palm Counties ;which will in turn help with increased workforce for the each County.

The Corporation customers are low income and severely low income families. Income in Miami Florida is $8.10 and with that income a family of  4 will have to get 3 jobs to survive. The market size is over 1 million individuals, including adults and children, according to the US census bureau. Surplus properties are government owned properties that are abandoned. Those property taxes are not collected and therefore the prospective school districts are not being properly funded.

According to the Miami Dade School Executive summary, YWIFI is desperately needed.

Foreign dollars do not stay in the county for more than 1 year. Yes less than 10% of foreign dollars do come back around in sales tax, but according to the executive summary of Miami Dade School systems, 60% of funding comes from homestead taxes.

Habitat for Humanity, which is also faith based community redevelopment organization is YWIFI closest “competitor”. Habitat for Humanity channel 100% of mortgage revenues, corporate, community and individual donations into our home build programs. Though Habitat for Humanity is very successful, not all candidates for home-ownership gets approved, according to their annual reports.

We do not consider Habitat for Humanity a competitor. We consider them an ally because the community needs more than one company fixing this huge problem, not only in Florida, but the United States.

YWIFI plans to acquire customers from career source, local colleges, and social media. The best resource is word of mouth.

Milestones includes funding and getting resources from HUD. Going to city hall is also required for the lists of surplus properties. Partnerships with Housing developers and their subsidiaries will be required. Governmental grants could be attained and also governmental contracts might be necessary.
